Kigali Car Free Day: Africa Walks Against Malaria

As part of the MIM Society 8th Pan-African Malaria Conference and in commemoration of World Malaria Day, we are organizing a special event: “Africa Walks Against Malaria”, with the aim of raising awareness about malaria prevention, treatment, and research across the African continent.

Date: April 21, 2024

Itinerary: Starting from BK Arena in Remera, participants will walk to the Kigali Heights Roundabout.

Time: 7:00 am to 10:00 am

What to Wear: Please wear a comfortable walking outfit and running shoes.

Bus Pick-Up and Drop-Off: For conference participants, there will be a bus pick-up available from 6 AM at your respective hotels, transporting you to the BK Arena where the walk will commence. After the walk, buses will take you back from the finish line to your hotels.
